On September 19, 2025, Byzfunder became aware of a security incident involving one of its cloud software solutions. Upon detection, Byzfunder launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident.
The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party may have accessed or acquired certain files between September 1, 2025, and September 20, 2025.
