SCORE is taking strategic steps to better serve America's small businesses as it finalizes diligence and strategic plans to merge the SCORE Foundation into the SCORE Association. This action, when approved by both the SCORE Association and Foundation Boards of Directors, will create a single, unified organization to amplify our mission and streamline operations.

The merger is designed to enhance operational efficiencies, reduce costs and redundancies, and direct savings toward supporting entrepreneurs. The process is expected to be complete by December 31, 2025.
This organizational change is among a series of strategic changes designed toalign board governance with the newly unified entity, creating greatertransparency and accountability as SCORE moves into its next chapter of supportingAmerica's entrepreneurs and fledgling small businesses. SCORE remainscommitted to expanding mentorship programs, forging new partnerships, and investing in technology to better serve the evolving needs of entrepreneursnationwide.
To accelerate this transformation andfurther strengthen strategic impact, innovation, andoperationalagility, the SCORE Association Board has appointed Julie Christiansen as interimExecutive DirectoreffectiveSeptember 29, 2025 . Julie is a former SCORE Association and Foundation Board member and aservantleader, with a proven track record leading successful organization transformations.
Association CEO Bridget Weston will transition to a special assignment focused on unified strategic partnership development reporting directly to the Association Board of Directors through mid-October 2025, at which time the CEO position will sunset. We want to recognize and thank Bridget Weston for her leadership and accomplishments. Additional organizational changes designed to right-size, and align the SCORE leadership team with the strategic goals of the newly unified organization will be implemented through January 2026.
