Delivery Drivers in Tampa and Jacksonville Secure Higher Wages, Better Benefits
Teamsters in Tampa and Jacksonville have ratified the Florida Driver's Agreement, a collective bargaining agreement covering 49 delivery drivers at Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits. Members of Teamsters Local 79 and Teamsters Local 947 worked together to negotiate the four-year agreement.

Highlights of the agreement include a new Teamsters health plan, larger pension benefits, wage increases, and improved overtime pay. The members also saw significant improvements to paid leave.

The agreement has a common expiration date with the newly organized Lakeland, Fla., warehouse for additional bargaining leverage in 2029.
