Newsweek, in partnership with data analytics provider Statista, compiles the annual America's Best Plastic Surgeons rankings to identify the leading specialists across six cosmetic surgery categories. The 2025 survey, conducted from March through May, collected more than 10,000 votes from physicians, surgeons, plastic surgery clinic managers, and other healthcare professionals.

Each surgeon was evaluated through a weighted scoring model that included peer recommendations (in-state and out-of-state), quality of care ratings such as outcomes and follow-up, and certification status. Recommendations accounted for the majority of the score, ensuring that the list reflects the judgment of those most familiar with the field.

Dr. Rohrich's number one ranking underscores his long-standing reputation as a leader and educator in rhinoplasty, one of the most technically demanding and nuanced procedures in plastic surgery. “It is an incredible honor to be ranked number one in rhinoplasty for five straight years,” says Dr. Rohrich. “This recognition reflects not only my dedication to advancing surgical excellence but also the trust of my peers across the country.”

Dr. Rohrich emphasized that rankings such as Newsweek's can help guide patients in choosing qualified surgeons. “Surgeon selection is the single most important decision a patient can make that will affect the safety and outcome of their surgery,” he explains. “I always encourage patients to choose a board-certified plastic surgeon with the expertise, experience, and history of delivering safe, effective, and natural results.”

In addition to his number one ranking in rhinoplasty, Dr. Rohrich was also honored with top rankings in several other categories including facelift, eyelid surgery, and liposuction. His consecutive recognition in rhinoplasty, now five years running, underscores his standing as one of the most accomplished and recognized plastic surgeons in the United States.
