Dream Exchange Presents at National Society of Black Engineers Conference in New Orleans

Dream Exchange, currently in formation, shares insights on capital markets innovation with engineering professionals

Dream Exchange, presented at the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) conference in New Orleans on August 28th, 2025.

Messrs. Salvatore Cecala and Kris Bell addressed how Dream Exchange's proposed exchange, which will be trading securities in the National Market System (“NMS”) and currently in formation, will help engineers with promising ideas access the capital they need to expand their businesses and benefit the world. The presentation outlined the company's innovative approach to bridging private and public markets once the passage of the Main Street Growth Act(the “MSGA”) is enacted into law and the creation of a new type of exchange called a venture exchange thereafter.

“Engineers drive innovation that transforms society, but many promising engineering ventures struggle to access capital for growth,” said Salvatore Cecala, Senior Vice President of Capital Raise at Dream Exchange. “A venture exchange is designed to help bridge that gap by creating new opportunities for innovative companies to access the capital markets they need to scale their impact.”

Dream Exchange is currently developing a venture exchange that, once the MSGA is enacted into law, addresses the virtual disappearance of small company initial public offerings in the last few years. The proposed venture exchange will provide listing opportunities for smaller companies while offering regulatory oversight and liquidity access previously unavailable in private markets.

The NSBE conference brings together engineering professionals, students, and industry leaders to advance careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This year's New Orleans gathering focused on engineering solutions for societal challenges, directly aligning with Dream Exchange's mission to support engineering innovators who face barriers in securing expansion capital.
