Recently, Horace Mann reported to the Attorney General of Texas that it had experienced a data breach. During the data breach, sensitive personal and protected health information in its systems may have been accessed by an unauthorized third party. Upon detection, Horace Mann initiated an internal review and began providing notice to impacted individuals.
