Huntington Beach Transfer Station Sanitation Workers Secure Victory with Overwhelming Vote
Teamsters Local 396 proudly announces a decisive union election victory at the Republic Services Huntington Beach Transfer Station, where workers voted by a super majority to join the ranks of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters. This victory is a significant step forward for waste and recycling workers who are demanding dignity, respect, and a stronger voice on the job.

With this victory, Republic Services workers in Huntington Beach will now join thousands of waste and recycling Teamsters across Southern California who have fought and won industry-leading contracts, improved safety protections, and secured fair wages and benefits for themselves and their families.
