The Romantic Comedy, Based on the Novel by New York Times Bestseller Emma Chase, Is Now Filming in England
PASSIONFLIX has begun production on Royally Screwed, a romantic comedy based on the beloved book by New York Times bestselling author Emma Chase. The film is a playful and modern twist on the royal romance genre, blending charm, heat, passionate romance, and a daring, spicy sense of humor.

The cast is led by Jenny Boyd (The CW's Legacies) who takes on the role of Olivia Hammond, a quick-witted New York waitress thrust into the world of royalty; and Max Rinehart (Alien:Earth) as Nicholas, the dashing and rebellious prince whose unexpected romance with Olivia sets off a royal firestorm. Joining them is Academy Award-nominated, Emmy-winning actress Shohreh Aghdashloo (House of Sand and Fog, The Wheel of Time) as Queen Lenora, a commanding monarch with a sharp tongue and even sharper instincts.
Royally Screwed marks the feature directorial debut of Sophia Kiapos, who brings a clear vision and deep appreciation for the romance genre to the project.
