In the fifth annual program, a wide array of law firms, corporations, non-profits, government agencies and other organizations across the United States nominated outstanding young attorneys. A team of editors assessed candidates for this award based on records of success for clients, leadership service, and commitment to pro bono work.

“We are excited to celebrate the fifth annual edition of 'They've Got Next: The 40 Under 40.' These illustrious 40 young lawyers are the newest members of our Bloomberg Law tradition honoring the brightest legal minds across the country,” said Lisa Helem, executive editor, Bloomberg Industry Group. “These individuals excel and innovate in their work for clients, in their leadership in their organizations, and in their service to their communities.”

Bloomberg Law's 2025 class represents the best of the future of the legal profession, and now they take their place in our storied Bloomberg Law tradition.
