Scruggs, competing in Senior Women's Foil, and Nixon, competing in Senior Women's Épée, are both PWF coach-athletes and current U.S. National Team members, continuing the Foundation's legacy of excellence on the world stage.
“Watching Lauren and Kasia compete on the world stage is a powerful reminder of what's possible when talent meets opportunity,” said Bob Cottingham, PWF CEO and U.S. Olympian (1998, 1992). “They embody the values that Peter built this Foundation on with excellence, resilience, and purpose. Their success not only inspires the next generation of athletes at PWF, but also reflects the strength and potential of our entire community.”
