Not Diamond Launches Prompt Adaptation, an Agentic System for Multi-Model Enterprise AI

Today, Not Diamond, a leading multi-model AI infrastructure platform provider, announced the official launch of Prompt Adaptation, a breakthrough agentic system designed to unlock the full power of enterprise AI. The new system was unveiled as part of SAP Sapphire in 2025, where Philipp Herzig, Chief Technology Officer and Chief AI Officer of SAP SE, Member of the Extended Board of SAP SE, showcased a preview of SAP's new prompt optimization service integrated into the generative AI hub platform in SAP AI Core and SAP AI Launchpad. The prompt optimization service was designed collaboratively with Not Diamond, leveraging SAP's framework and Not Diamond's state-of-the-art technology with the intent of driving accuracy improvements on SAP's use cases and accelerating engineering throughput.

The launch coincides with the announcement of additional funding from IBM, SAP.iO Fund, Myriad Venture Partners, Deepwater, DNX, and Ambush Capital as well as further investment from Defy. The additional funding reflects a growing recognition of prompt adaptation and multi-model orchestration as core pillars of enterprise AI.

“We're entering a new era of multi-model AI infrastructure,” said Tomás Hernando Kofman, co-founder and CEO of Not Diamond. “Prompt engineering can't scale manually across models anymore. Prompt Adaptation builds on our routing foundation to make prompts programmable-automatically adapting and optimizing them across foundation models to improve accuracy, drive engineering efficiencies, and accelerate enterprise rollout. Our collaboration with SAP and IBM's investment in the company are a validation of that future.”

SAP Validates Prompt Adaptation in Generative AI Hub Platform

The value of Prompt Adaptation centers around model agility: helping SAP and its customers stay ahead of the rapidly evolving AI model landscape. With dozens of new models emerging each month and performance varying by use case, region and cost, SAP and Not Diamond collaborated to build a system that can adapt to change.

Prompt Adaptation was integrated into a preview of a prompt optimization service in SAP's generative AI hub which automatically adapts enterprise prompts to the best available model. This reduces manual effort, accelerates the adoption of new models, and helps to ensure optimal performance across geographies and regulatory zones.

“Prompt optimization is key to make Enterprise AI more flexible, cheaper, more accurate, and less brittle,” said Philipp Herzig, Chief Technology Officer and Chief AI Officer at SAP. “With Not Diamond, we can adapt to AI innovations and new models much faster and benefit from performance improvements in AIdevelopment. This is just the beginning-we're excited to continue building the multi-model future together.”

Prompt Adaptation unlocks the power of intelligent model routing. By optimizing prompts across various models, Not Diamond helps enterprises dynamically select the best model-prompt combination, ensuring peak performance, maximum flexibility, and operational efficiency-all without additional engineering overhead.

IBM Continues its Investment in the Multi-Model Future of AI

Alongside SAP.iO Fund, Myriad Venture Partners, Deepwater, and Defy, IBM has joined Not Diamond's latest funding round to support the company's mission of building the foundational infrastructure for the multi-model AI future. As enterprise AI shifts from monolithic model deployments to modular, dynamic systems, IBM sees routing and prompt adaptation as essential building blocks for agility, scale, and performance.

“Generative AI requires a fit-for-purpose model strategy. Smaller, open-source models are how that future will be built, and to harness the power of AI, we need intelligent multi-model infrastructure,” said Emily Fontaine, Vice President, Global Head of Venture Capital at IBM. “Not Diamond combines deep research with real-world impact. Their routing and prompt adaptation systems help scale AI, and we're thrilled to support their vision”.

Routing and Prompt Adaptation are the core pillars of Not Diamond's infrastructure -working together to evaluate, adapt, and deploy the best models for every task in real time. With Prompt Adaptation, that foundation becomes programmable and autonomous, enabling enterprises to move faster, reduce cost, and maintain state-of-the-art performance across a rapidly evolving model landscape.

About Prompt Adaptation

Prompt Adaptation is an agentic system that programmatically rewrites, optimizes, and governs prompts across models and vendors, eliminating brittle, manually engineered inputs. By utilizingintelligent workflows that test and refine language prompts, it enables enterprises to scale and streamline their use of generative AI. With Prompt Adaptation, enterprise teams can:

— Automatically optimize prompts across multiple LLMs

— Improve performance and consistency across use cases

— Cut manual prompt engineering effort by thousands of hours

— Reduce model onboarding time from months to minutes

Prompt Adaptation is now available for early access. To learn more, visit notdiamond.ai.

About Not DiamondNot Diamond, is a multi-model AI infrastructure platform that helps enterprise AI/ML teams seamlessly assess, onboard, and optimize new AI models through cross-model prompt adaptation and intelligent model routing. Instead of waterfalling development inefficiently through one model at a time, we help companies save tens of thousands of engineering hours and improve output accuracy by evaluating and optimizing all candidate models and parameter configurations in parallel through our data-driven platform.
