PC AGE Offers $200/Month Stipend to Help Low-Income Students Train for IT Careers

PC AGE Career Institute has launched a new initiative to help low-income students break into high-paying IT and Cybersecurity careers without the financial strain of unemployment or lost income. The school will now offer a $200/month stipend to qualified students while they train, making it one of the most aggressive support programs of its kind.

The stipend is available to students who qualify for federal Pell Grants, which provide up to about $9,860 in tuition assistance. PC AGE will redirect a portion of these funds to support students' living expenses, such as commuting, food, or childcare.

“We know the biggest barrier for most working-class adults isn't the tuition – it's the cost of life while you study,” said Zafar Khizer, founder of PC AGE. “We want our students to stay focused on building a better future, not just surviving the present.”

PC AGE's trains students for IT and Cybersecurity careers in just 9 to 12 months. Graduates frequently start jobs at $40,000 to $60,000, with many reaching $80K+ within a few years – even without a college degree or prior experience.

This pilot stipend program is available for a limited time and limited number of students. Those who maintain satisfactory academic progress (SAP) are eligible for monthly support while enrolled in the day or evening program.
