WINNIPEG, MB: Globe Property Management, a Winnipeg property management company with properties across Canada, won the 2025 Safety & Health Week Engagement Award.
Safety & Health Week is an annual event put on by SAFE Work Manitoba, a division of the Workers Compensation Board (WCB) of Manitoba. As described by the Construction Safety Association of Manitoba, “Safety and Health Week is an ideal time for employers, employees, partners, and the public to focus on the importance of preventing injury and illness in the workplace, at home, and in the community.”
According to SAFE Work Manitoba, the Safety & Health Week Engagement Award “celebrates an organization that goes above and beyond to involve its teams in safety and health, promote awareness, and take meaningful steps to prevent workplace injury and illness.”
Safety & Health Week takes place in May; SAFE Work Manitoba holds a launch event, and employers and employees put on events, listen to speakers and panellists, and conduct other activities to promote workplace safety. Globe Property Management engaged employees throughout the week to improve safety.
