NEW YORK, NY / ACCESS Newswire / November 21, 2025 / Graebel Companies, Inc.("Graebel") recently suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data and protected health information of individuals. This data breach has led to concerns over the security of sensitive personal and protected health information of individuals entrusted to Graebel.
WHAT’S THIS ABOUT?
In December 2024, Graebel became aware of a security incident on its internal systems. Upon detection, Graebel launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to Graebel’s network and obtained sensitive data between December 19, 2024, and December 22, 2024.
The impacted data may include names, Social Security numbers, dates of birth, addresses, financial account information, electronic signatures, driver’s license or government-issued identification numbers, health insurance information, and medical information.
On November 10, 2025, Graebel filed a notice with the office of the Attorney General of Maine and began notifying impacted individuals. Compensation may be available for those individuals who receive notice that their sensitive personal and protected health information was compromised.
