This award comes on the heels of a series of major milestones that highlight Seasats' growing role in advancing persistent maritime autonomy:

— Trans-Pacific Endurance: Earlier this year, a Seasats USV completed an autonomous 7,500+ mile Pacific crossing, demonstrating unmatched persistence for a vessel of its size.

— NATO Validation: Multiple Seasats Lightfish were deployed in BALTOPS 2025, where the Commander of Task Force 66 highlighted their performance “[They're] operational at this point, but we put them through a series of trials to essentially become confident that we could operationalize them for longer durations.”

— Commercial Expansion: Lightfish's uniquely compact form factor, long endurance, and affordable price point which have made it an attractive choice for expeditionary defense operations and commercial companies alike. In Argentina, Lightfish are providing maritime security, while in Australia, Lightfish are powering a new global scientific surface network.

“This Phase III IDIQ underscores Seasats' reliability and dependability as a trusted partner in solving national security's toughest problems,” said Mike Flanigan, CEO of Seasats. “Our systems have proven themselves across oceans, NATO exercises, and Navy operations. With this contract in place, fleets of Seasats' vessels will be fielded quickly to expand maritime awareness, strengthen deterrence, and give U.S. and allied forces a persistent edge at sea.”

Seasats continues to expand its customer base across defense, science, and commercial sectors, while advancing new capabilities that build on its proven platform. This milestone underscores the company's momentum and growing role in establishing the next generation of persistent maritime infrastructure.
