Siguler Guff and Benefit Street Partners Provide $86M in Bridge Financing to Recapitalize Vero Capital’s Us Bayou Park

Siguler Guff & Company, LP (“Siguler Guff” or the “Firm”), a multi-strategy private markets investment firm with approximately $17 billion of assets under management, as of June 30, 2025, today announced the origination of a $27.5 million mezzanine loan as part of a broader $86 million refinancing package for Us Bayou Park (the “Property”), a 404-unit luxury multifamily community in Houston's Montrose neighborhood. The senior loan was originated by Benefit Street Partners, a leading credit-focused alternative asset management firm, and marks the third financing package originated in partnership with Siguler Guff.

The refinancing supports continued upgrades and long-term value creation at the Property, which was acquired by real estate investment firm Vero Capital in 2021 and is operated under the firm's Us Living lifestyle platform. Us Bayou Park offers high-end amenities and programming that cater to Houston's growing population of professionals seeking community-oriented, active urban living.

The recapitalization includes a holdback facility to fund additional renovations across residential units. The Property is managed by Kairoi Residential.
