New MOU adds at least a 60% undergraduate tuition reduction for chamber members, employees and their dependents; continues a 20% reduction for Division of Continuing Studies programs
Mount St. Mary's University and the Frederick County Chamber of Commerce signed a renewed memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Sept. 9, further strengthening a partnership that began in 2019 and expanding affordable pathways to a Mount education for Frederick County's workforce and their families. Under the agreement, eligible chamber members, employees and their dependents who are under the age of 23 and enroll full time at the Mount's Emmitsburg campus will now receive at least a 60% tuition reduction. Chamber members, employees and dependents who enroll through the Division of Continuing Studies (DCS) will continue to receive a 20% tuition reduction.

The MOU builds on the original 2019 agreement between the Mount and the chamber and adds a new undergraduate tuition-reduction benefit for chamber families.
