Chaberton Names New Board Members to Support Next Stage of Company Growth

Energy infrastructure veterans Meer, Tynan and Blair bring deep sector expertise to guide forward-looking business strategy.

Chaberton Energy, a leading developer of distributed energy projects, today announced the appointment of three new members to its board of directors, effective Oct.1, 2025. These distinguished industry leaders will help guide Chaberton as it scales into new markets, building on the company's rapid growth in community and commercial solar.

Claudia Meerbrings more than 30 years of leadership experience in energy, infrastructure, mergers and acquisitions and strategic growth planning for businesses including JP Morgan, Dalkia division of EDF, AlphaStruxure, Marriott International and Clark Construction. As CEO at CoreMax Consulting, she advises companies on strategy, corporate development, tech modernization, cybersecurity, AI and transaction execution. Meer currently serves on several boards including NPKand Bernhard/Enfra and previously served on the boards of iSun and HyAxiom fuel cell division of Doosan.

Chris Tynan serves as CEO of Burnham RNG, a developer of renewable natural gas infrastructure. Tynan has more than 20 years of experience in the development and financing of infrastructure projects. He was an early employee of Enviva, LP, a producer of low-carbon biomass fuel from wood waste. During his seven years with the company, Tynan helped Enviva grow from $10 million to nearly $200 million in EBITDA. Before Enviva, Tynan held positions at leading renewable energy development and investment firms including Summit Power Group, Hudson Clean Energy Partners and EIF.

Trixie Blair is a principal at Greenbacker Development Opportunities Fund (GDEV), where she has closely advised Chaberton Energy since 2021. She leads transaction origination and execution, portfolio management and capital raising for GDEV. Blair previously served as vice president at Evercore, advising power, utility and renewable energy clients on mergers and acquisitions totaling more than $15 billion. GDEV is a corporate-level investor in Chaberton, and Blair takes over for Ben Baker, who was Greenbacker's previous board representative.
