92% of Workers Eager to Embrace New Digital Tools, OysterLink Poll Finds

OysterLink's latest poll reveals that hospitality professionals are overwhelmingly open to adopting new digital technologies in their roles, with more than 150 respondents taking part.

When asked how open they are to learning and using tools such as AI-driven scheduling systems, advanced software, and digital POS solutions, an overwhelming 92% said they are “very open.” Only 3% reported being “somewhat open,” while another 3% admitted feeling hesitant, and 3% said they are not interested at all.

This strong majority signals a clear readiness among hospitality workers to embrace innovation and automation in the workplace. From streamlining operations to enhancing customer experiences, digital tools are no longer viewed with skepticism but as essential skills for the future of hospitality.

“Technology has always been a driver of efficiency, but what's striking is how eager hospitality professionals themselves are to integrate it into their daily work,” said Milos Eric, General Manager at OysterLink. “This shift suggests the industry is more prepared than ever for AI and digital transformation.”
