Dallas plastic surgeon Dr. Rod J. Rohrich has been recognized for the fifth straight year by Newsweek as America's top plastic surgeon in rhinoplasty, facelift, and other categories based on peer survey and quality scores.
Dallas plastic surgeon and rhinoplasty specialist Dr. Rod J. Rohrich has once again secured top national recognition in Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons in 2025, earning the #1 spot in four major categories: eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), facelift, liposuction, and rhinoplasty. Dr. Rohrich also ranked #2 for breast augmentation and #3 for tummy tuck (abdominoplasty).
Now in its fifth year, Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons rankings identify the best plastic surgeons in the United States across six common cosmetic procedures: breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, facelift, liposuction, rhinoplasty, and tummy tuck. The rankings were determined through an extensive national survey of thousands of medical experts, including physicians, surgeons, plastic surgery clinic managers, and other healthcare professionals with experience in plastic surgery. The survey, conducted from March to May 2025, yielded over 10,000 votes.
Each surgeon's final placement on the ranked list was determined by a scoring model that considered peer recommendations, a quality-of-care rating, and relevant certifications. Peer recommendations accounted for the majority of the score, with participants rating surgeons based on consultation quality, complication rates, follow-up care, and overall surgical outcomes. Surgeons holding American Board of Plastic Surgery certification received additional points toward their total score.
Dr Rohrich is internationally renowned and is highly sought after for his expertise in rhinoplasty and facelift surgery. His consistently high placement across multiple specialties underscores his breadth of expertise in aesthetic plastic surgery. “Being recognized across so many categories by my peers is both humbling and rewarding,” says Dr. Rohrich. “These rankings are a reflection of the dedication and precision that my team and I bring to every procedure, as well as my lifelong commitment to advancing safe, effective, and innovative surgical techniques.”
A long-standing advocate for patient safety and a lifelong educator, Dr. Rohrich lectures internationally on advanced techniques in rhinoplasty, facelift surgery, and other cosmetic procedures. He believes rankings such as Newsweek's can help patients make informed decisions when selecting a surgeon. “Your choice of surgeon is the single most important factor in determining both the safety and the success of your procedure,” he says. “In plastic surgery it's not enough to be consistent, you must be consistently exceptional.”
