She brings 25 years of legal experience in environmental and land use law, complex commercial real estate transactions, and project development – including brownfields redevelopment and specialized expertise in hazardous waste, solid waste, and regulatory compliance counseling – to her new role. She was previously a partner at Casner & Edwards in Boston.

Stolfi Stalenhoef's experience spans both the private and public sectors. In addition to her many years as outside counsel at boutique, mid-size, and large firms, she served as Chief Regional Counsel for the southeast regional office of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and as Assistant Attorney General with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Environmental Protection Division. Before becoming a lawyer, Stolfi Stalenhoefwas an environmental scientist at Metcalf & Eddy.

She currently serves as a Director of the Needham Land Trust, Inc. and previously served as a Director of the Massachusetts Association of Conservation Commissions and as Co-Chair of the BBA's Wetlands and Waterways Committee of the Environment and Energy Section. Stolfi Stalenhoef is also a member of the Licensed Site Professionals Association; the Real Estate Bar Association for Massachusetts; NAIOP, Massachusetts Chapter; and several other prominent professional and public service organizations. She was named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly's “Top Women of Law” list in 2023.
Stolfi Stalenhoef earned her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School, her M.A. in environmental studies from Simmons College, and her B.A. from Merrimack College.
