Leading Early Childhood Education Company Selected for Fourth Time; Honor Based on Independent Employee Survey of Workplace Culture
Teaching Strategies, the country's leading developer of early childhood curriculum, assessment, professional learning, and family engagement solutions, today announced it is one of The Washington Post's 2025 Top Workplaces in the Washington, D.C. area. This marks the fourth time the company has earned a spot on the annual list in recent years.

The annual Top Workplaces list is based exclusively on direct employee feedback gathered through an extensive third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage LLC. The confidential survey uniquely measures the employee experience and its component themes, including employees feeling respected and supported, enabled to grow, and empowered to execute. This year, Teaching Strategies received additional recognition for its leadership, innovation, compensation and benefits, work/life balance, purpose and values.
“Teaching Strategies is honored to once again be recognized as a Top Workplace-especially because this recognition comes directly from our team,” said Teaching Strategies CEO Mike Derezin. “For more than 45 years, we've helped children build a strong foundation for success through our leading early learning platform and solutions. That's only possible because of the passion and commitment of the people who work here.”
In addition to being named to the Washington, D.C., list, Teaching Strategies has also been named to the USA Top Workplaces list.
“Earning a Top Workplaces award is a badge of honor for companies, especially because it comes authentically from their employees,” said Energage CEO Eric Rubino. “That's something to be proud of. In today's market, leaders must ensure they're allowing employees to have a voice and be heard. That's paramount. Top Workplaces do this, and it pays dividends.”
