Annual event raises funds to provide accessible homes and vehicles for children with disabilities
On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, the annualSamantha's House Golf Outing will return to Wood Wind Golf Course in Westfield, bringing together golfers, businesses, and community members for a day of competition, camaraderie, and compassion-all for a life-changing cause.
Samantha's House was founded more than 20 years ago when Keller & Keller Injury Lawyers took on a case involving a young girl named Samantha. What started as a single act of advocacy evolved into a nonprofit dedicated to building and funding accessible housing and vehicles for children with disabilities across Central Indiana.
“This cause is incredibly close to our hearts,” said Jim Keller, Managing Attorney at Keller & Keller Injury Lawyers and founding member of the Samantha's House Board. “Every ramp, retrofitted van, or widened hallway gives these families freedom, dignity, and peace of mind. That's why we do this. Today we help families in the central Indiana community, not associated with Keller & Keller Injury Lawyers.”
This year's outing will once again feature a shotgun start, lunch, raffle prizes, player swag, hole contests, and a chance to hear directly from families impacted by Samantha's House. Funds raised from this year's event will enable the nonprofit to give away another fully retrofitted van to a deserving child and family this holiday season-a gift that opens the door to mobility and independence.
Sponsorship opportunities are available at all levels, and the planning committee is actively seeking raffle items, hole sponsors, and in-kind donations. Whether you're entering a team, sponsoring a hole, or simply donating a gift card or giveaway item, every bit helps make the day a success.
“This isn't just a golf event-it's a reminder of the power of community,” said Jim. “It's one of the best days of the year.”
With each dollar raised, we move one step closer to giving a child the freedom to simply live like a kid again.
