Race Communications to acquire Atherton Fiber

Race Communications (“Race”), a leading Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) provider in California, announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Atherton Fiber, the leading FTTH home provider in Atherton, CA and surrounding areas. Atherton Fiber is known for its top-tier network speeds and concierge-style service, making the company a perfect fit to join Race's expanding fiber footprint. The acquisition is currently pending regulatory approval from the California Public Utilities Commission.

Currently Atherton Fiber offers service to more than 5,000 homes and has over 1,000 subscribers in San Mateo County, California.
