AARP Maryland Applauds Launch of Longevity Ready Maryland

Plan coordinates services for older Marylanders across state agencies and sectors.

AARP Maryland is welcoming the launch of Longevity Ready Maryland, a comprehensive, 10-year multisector plan to coordinate services and policies that support Maryland's growing population of older adults.

The launch of Longevity Ready Maryland comes on the heels of a recent report by the U.S. Census Bureau that the number ofMarylanders age 65 and older grew by 3.35% from 2023 to 2024, while the number of those under age 18 fell by 0.06%.
