Tampa General, the region's only academic health system, is recognized as one of the nation's top 50 hospitals in six medical specialties and ranks among the top 10% in five additional medical specialties.

Tampa General Hospital(TGH) is once again and for the 10th straight year, the #1 hospital in the Tampa Bay region, according toU.S. News & World Report's2025-2026 Best Hospitalsrankings. Tampa General continues its reign as one of Florida's top hospitals and earns recognition as one of the top 50 hospitals in the nation in multiple specialties.
