Compliant with SOC II Type 2 Security Protections for Customer Data

SOC Certification is part of the System and Organization Controls developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. SOC II protocols were introduced to specify cybersecurity guidance for organizations who provide services and to promote confidence among customers who share sensitive data with them in utilizing those services.
Service providers may voluntarily adopt prescribed security protections for the collection, use, retention, and disposal of personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), and other customer data in their care. The SOC II framework requires that security implementations be audited, followed by detailed reporting, in order to certify compliance. SunDance was audited by A-LIGN, a security and compliance firm trusted by thousands of organizations to mitigate cybersecurity risks and certify compliance with a variety of regulations.
— SOC II Type 1 Certification reflects that a service organization's security controls meet the Trust Services principles of SOC II Type 1 at the time of audit.
