An Anthem of Survival, Organ Donation, and Hope – Now the Theme of an Upcoming Documentary
Award-winning singer-songwriter, and speaker Chloe Temtchine is releasing a powerful new single and music video titled Heaven in the Darkest Place – a deeply personal anthem inspired by her near-death experience and the double-lung transplant that saved her life.

Adding a powerful new layer to the track is acclaimed Philadelphia rapper Freeway, whose feature carries deep personal significance. In 2019, he received a life-saving kidney transplant. Not long after, he endured the unimaginable loss of both his children – who, in their passing, became organ donors and saved multiple lives. His connection to the cause adds profound emotional weight to the song, bridging two powerful narratives of survival, loss, and giving back.
The song will serve as the official theme for a forthcoming feature-length documentary currently in production. With 50% of the project's funding already raised, the film aims to bring massive awareness to the critical importance of organ donation, while also aiming to inspire others through a story of remarkable resilience and hope.
“This song is about finding a glimmer of light in the midst of unimaginable darkness – and realizing that sometimes the worst moments are actually the ones that lead us to our greatest purpose,” says Chloe. “Freeway's story and voice bring an honesty, meaning, and gravity to the track that I'm deeply honored to share with him.”
In addition to the feature documentary, a companion short film based on true events is also in development, with half of the funding already secured.
Heaven in the Darkest Place is more than a song – it's the start of a powerful campaign to raise awareness, spark change, and remind the world that in the darkest moments miracles can unfold.
How You Can Help:Be a part of something truly meaningful. By contributing to this project, you can help share a powerful message of hope, resilience, and the incredible gift of organ donation.
As a special thank you, anyone who donates funds can choose to have his or her name listed in the film's credits.
