Lise Romanoff, CEO and Managing Director of Vision Films says, “This film is more than an equestrian competition story. It deals with friendship and loyalty over individual success.”
“Our characters find themselves in significant battles with external situations or internal demons, and the only way to overcome and triumph over those issues is to face them head on,” said Nick Pinelli, the film's director. “It's a film about redemption, hope, love – and all that it takes to be the best version of ourselves.”
Author/writer Donald Miller shares, “If I Could Ride Again reminds us that even when life takes a turn we never expected, the road ahead can still lead to hope, healing, and incredible triumph. This story is more than a movie -it's a tribute to love, loss, and the strength to rise again and never give up. It's inspired by my son, and it carries his spirit in every frame.” He continues, “New actor Ashton Dunford reminded all of us what courage truly looks like. He didn't just play the role of David-he lived it. His performance is a powerful message that no dream is out of reach, no matter the obstacles.”
Donnie Miller adds, “It was an emotional journey to step into my brother's shoes and wear his last racing uniform. Every scene felt like honoring his legacy in the most powerful way I could.”
If I Could Ride Again will be available on major streaming and cable platforms across the US and Canada on July 8, 2025.
