Tradebe Donates $5,000 to Bridgeport Police Cadet Program to Support Youth Training and Leadership Development

Tradebe is proud to announce a $5,000 donation to the Bridgeport Police Cadet Program, a youth development initiative that prepares young people for careers in public service and law enforcement. The funds will help cover the cost of the upcoming Cadet Police Academy and provide critical support for uniforms and training gear for new cadets.

The Bridgeport Police Cadet Program currently supports 45 members, including both cadets and advisors. The Cadet Police Academy will take place at Westfield State College from July 20 to 26, offering intensive physical training, team-building exercises, and real-world instruction in public safety.

“At Tradebe, we believe in investing in the next generation of community leaders,”said Jill Long, Executive Vice President of People and Culture at Tradebe.”These cadets are gaining skills and experiences that will shape their futures and strengthen their communities. We are proud to support their efforts and the important work being done by the Bridgeport Police Cadet Program.”

“This support from Tradebe makes a real difference for our cadets,”said Officer Marie Cetti, Executive Director of the Program.”It shows our young people that their hard work is seen and valued by the broader community. That encouragement goes a long way.”

The Bridgeport Police Cadet Program helps develop future public servants through mentorship, service, and leadership training. Many of its alumni go on to serve as police officers, first responders, and community leaders across the region.
