5,000 pairs of Nike Air Jordans will be given away on the Southside, June 9-14. The outreach is being organized by local churches and Time to Revive, a Texas-based ministry with a global footprint. Every person who receives a pair of shoes will walk away with something far greater: personal prayer, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and a clear next step toward discipleship.
For one week, the tent at 53rd and Halsted will become a place of repentance and turning to God. Every person who walks in will hear the Gospel message, feel the love of Christ, and eat a free meal prepared by the volunteer organization Texans on Mission.
