Following on the formal establishment of the Strategic Partnership Initiative last week between the Governments of Saudi Arabia and the United States, the U.S.-Saudi Business Council (the “Council”) is pleased to announce the launch of a new and distinct bureau within our organization – the Strategic Partnership Center (“SPC”) – that will allow members and stakeholders to leverage the credibility, capability and connectivity of the Council in order to promote, pursue and conclude successful business investments, ventures and partnerships between and within the two countries.
With a mandate endorsed by both the Saudi and U.S. governments, the SPC will pursue opportunities through targeted engagement with private sector partners, while also collaborating closely with the relevant ministerial and executive agencies of each country. Its focus will be on high-impact businesses whose products and services align with the Strategic Partnership Initiative, Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, and the United States' national economic objectives.
Specifically, the SPC will provide a series of tailored offerings around the creation, facilitation and consummation of Saudi – U.S. business partnerships, ventures and investments. These will include partner identification and introduction as well as research, advisory, and mediation support. TheSPC also will host a regular forum to bring together key stakeholders and initiatives.
The Strategic Partnership Center will leverage the Council's formidable 30-year record and reach as well as the decades of experience of its leadership in closing successful transactions between U.S. and Saudi companies. “The Center's launch comes at a pivotal moment of enhanced bilateral ties, as both nations seek to deepen strategic cooperation in core sectors,” said CharlesHallab, CEO of the U.S.-Saudi Business Council. “Through its focus on high-caliber, strategic partnerships, the SPC offers a new avenue and a new level of engagement to businesses seeking to participate in this exciting chapter of economic revival and transformation.”
