ALCS is an all-volunteer-driven nonprofit organization, organized in 1968, that delivers essential services to children, families, assault survivors, veterans, and youth in need across the region. Among its signature programs are Operation School Bell®, which provides new clothing, shoes, and grooming supplies to qualified students, helping them feel confident and ready to succeed in the classroom; Assault Survivor Kits®, which offers essential clothing and toiletries to individuals who have experienced assault; and Sweet Dreams, which provides new beds and bedding to young people exiting foster care or homelessness into transitional subsidized apartments.

“Partnering with Assistance League of Colorado Springs this year is an honor. I've seen firsthand the incredible impact ALCS has, and my daughter and I have loved volunteering at their Bargain Box thrift store,” shared Heather Kelly, CEO of Next PR. “Our team is excited to share ALCS's story, highlight their transformative work and support their mission of changing lives through their community programs.”

The partnership will include a comprehensive social media audit, resulting in a detailed best practices guide tailored to ALCS's needs. Next PR will also support content creation, a targeted media relations program and a messaging workshop, culminating in a messaging document to help ALCS amplify its story.

“We're thrilled to partner with Next PR to expand the reach of our programs,” shared Suzanne Discenza, President of ALCS. “The support they're offering will help us connect with even more people in the community and continue making a meaningful difference in their lives.”

Next PR's work with ALCS is part of its ongoing Conscious Capitalism program, which strives to support organizations making a difference in their communities.
