NEW YORK, NY / ACCESS Newswire / February 23, 2025 / ArdyssLife recently disclosed that it suffered a data breach that compromised the sensitive personal data of individuals.This data breach has led to concerns over the security of sensitive personal information entrusted to ArdyssLife.
WHAT’S THIS ABOUT?
On December 9, 2024, ArdyssLife became aware of a security incident on its IT network, which was managed by a third-party provider named Epic. Upon detection, ArdyssLife launched an investigation with the assistance of third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. The investigation determined that malicious actors deployed malware between December 8, 2024, and December 9, 2024, gaining unauthorized access to folders containing confidential consumer information. Following a comprehensive review of the impacted data, ArdyssLife identified affected individuals and determined what specific information was compromised.
Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal information may have been compromised:name, address, phone number, email address, Social Security number, and other personal information ArdyssLife filed a notice with the California Attorney General’s office and on January 12, 2025, ArdyssLife began sending out notice letters to all individuals whose information was compromised in the incident.Compensation may be available for those individuals who received notice that their personal information was compromised.
