WHAT’S THIS ABOUT?

On May 30, 2024, Delta became aware of a security incident on its IT network. In response, Delta launched an investigation and engaged third-party cybersecurity experts to determine the nature and scope of the incident. Upon investigation Delta determined that an unauthorized third party gained access to the company’s network between May 27, 2024, and May 30, 2024, and may have acquired certain files from Delta’s systems. Delta conducted a comprehensive review of the impacted data to determine what information was compromised and how many individuals were impacted.

Upon information and belief, the following types of sensitive personal and protected health information may have been compromised as a result of the data breach:name, date of birth, phone number, address, financial account information, medical information, health insurance information, Social Security number, and/or driver’s license number.On January 31, 2025, Delta filed a notice with the Maine Attorney General’s Office and started sending out notice letters to the affected individuals.Compensation may be available for those individuals who received notice that their personal information was compromised.
